Brian Baak is an associate in the Denver office of Gibson, Dunn, & Crutcher. He currently practices in the firm's Litigation Department.
Mr. Baak has been involved in pre-trial proceedings, including motion practice and discovery, in both state and federal court. His experience includes SEC investigations, complex business litigation, and defense of a food company in a series of toxic tort cases pertaining to alleged personal injuries from exposure to a pesticide used on banana farms in the 1970s.
Mr. Baak received his J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center, with honors, in 2008, and served as an editor on the Georgetown Law Journal. As part of a joint-degree program, he also received his Master of Public Policy from Georgetown's Public Policy Institute. He received his B.A. in public policy studies and economics from Duke University in 2001. Prior to attending law school, Mr. Baak served as a Peace Corps Volunteer in the Kingdom of Tonga.
Mr. Baak is currently admitted to practice law in the State of Colorado. |
