Matthew C. Walsh is an associate in the New York office of Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher. He is a member of the firm’s Corporate Transactions and Fashion, Retail and Consumer Products Practice Groups. Mr. Walsh focuses on mergers and acquisitions, capital markets and private equity transactions. He has represented private equity sponsors, corporations and investment banks. Transactions for private equity clients include acquisitions and dispositions, going private transactions, recapitalizations and general portfolio company matters. Transactions for corporations have included public and private acquisitions and dispositions, cross-border transactions and public and private securities offerings. Mr. Walsh earned his Juris Doctor summa cum laude in 2004 from Fordham Law School, where he was a member of the Order of the Coif. In 1996, he earned his Bachelor of Arts degree magna cum laude in Classics from the College of the Holy Cross, where he was elected Phi Beta Kappa. Mr. Walsh is admitted to practice law in New York state. |
