Patrick C. Dykstra is an associate in the Dubai office of Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher, where he currently practices in the firm's Corporate Department. Prior to joining the firm’s Dubai office, Mr. Dykstra was an associate in the Los Angeles office of Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher.
Mr. Dykstra has advised on a broad range of transactional and corporate investment matters, including assisting clients with mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, tax and restructuring.
His experience in the Middle East includes work with two sovereign wealth funds on outbound investment transactions, acting as counsel to some of the region’s largest private equity groups, advising a national government on its tax policies, and assisting a major oil and gas company in securing a $350 million credit facility. Mr. Dykstra has also written articles and updates on joint ventures in the Middle East, succession planning for family businesses, and the benefits of secondary listings for Middle Eastern companies. |
