Timothy Abbott

Timothy Abbott is an associate in the New York office of Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher.  He is a member of the firm's Corporate Department.

Mr. Abbott received his Juris Doctor from Columbia Law School in 2008, where he was named a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar and served as Business Editor for the Columbia Journal of East European Law.  He received his Bachelor of Arts degree magna cum laude from Brown University in 2001. 

Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Abbott worked as a paralegal in the Bureau of Competition at the Federal Trade Commission in Washington, D.C.  

Mr. Abbott is admitted to practice in the State of New York.
