International M&A Partner Jeff Roberts Joins Gibson Dunn in London

Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher LLP is pleased to announce that Jeff Roberts will join the firm as a partner.  Roberts, who will join the firm's London office from Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer where he was a partner, will continue to focus his corporate law practice on international public and private mergers and acquisitions, private equity and equity capital markets.

"We are delighted to have Jeff on board," said Ken Doran, Managing Partner of Gibson Dunn.  “One of our top priorities is to continue growing a strong global platform, and Jeff’s experience representing large, multinational corporations in complex corporate matters will strengthen our capabilities in the UK and for cross-border transactions across Europe.”

“Our London office has grown significantly in recent years, adding English law capability in areas such as litigation, arbitration, competition/antitrust, employment law and business restructuring, and additional resources in corporate/M&A, finance and private equity,” commented Tom Budd, co-partner in charge of the London office.  “Jeff will further enhance our capabilities in several of our core practice areas.”

“I am looking forward to joining Gibson Dunn,” said Roberts.  “I was drawn to the firm’s entrepreneurial culture, focus on quality and collegiality, all of which will provide me with the support I need to continue to deliver the best possible service to my clients.”
