Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher LLP is pleased to announce that Bill Peters has joined the Los Angeles office as a partner. Peters is recognized as one of a handful of top outsourcing lawyers in the country. He was formerly a partner with O'Melveny & Myers in Los Angeles, where he served as co-chair of that firms Transactional Intellectual Property Practice.

About Bill Peters
Peters has focused his legal career on counseling and representing clients in complex technology and outsourcing transactions. His experience includes structuring large-scale business process and information technology outsourcing arrangements, offshore sourcing, strategic alliances, system/ERP implementations, application service provider agreements, software development agreements, system integration agreements and software licenses.
He has represented clients in the insurance, telecommunications, aerospace, automobile, energy, bank, transportation, retail and health care industries in a wide range of information technology and business process outsourcing transactions.
Peters was a partner with O'Melveny & Myers since 2002. Before that, he practiced with Shaw Pittman and Milbank, Tweed, Hadley & McCloy. Peters has also served as senior counsel to Exult, Inc., a provider of business services related to human resources and business process outsourcing. He is a 1994 graduate of Loyola Law School.
