Allan Neil is an English qualified partner in Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher's London office, and practises in the firm's Dispute Resolution Group.
Dr. Neil has particular experience in high value, complex litigation and international arbitration in a broad range of fields, particularly financial institutions disputes, joint ventures, the contentious aspects of cross-border restructurings, auditor liability and insurance and reinsurance.
Dr. Neil also has considerable experience in antitrust work, particularly in the context of complex international transactions and in acting for corporations being investigated by the Office of Fair Trading ("OFT"), the UK's competition authority.
His regulatory experience also covers anti-corruption and compliance work, particularly acting on the European element of corporate monitorships under the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act ("FCPA").
He was called to the Bar by the Middle Temple in 2001, having been awarded the Queen Mother Scholarship (the Middle Temple's most prestigious award) in consecutive years, and named a Blackstone Entrance Exhibitioner.
He is fluent in French and German.
