Candice Choh is a partner in the Los Angeles office of Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher where she currently practices in the firm's Corporate Transactions Practice Group.

Ms. Choh’s practice is focused on mergers and acquisitions, capital markets transactions, private equity and general corporate matters.  She has represented both public and private companies as well as private equity funds in various business combination transactions and has also represented both issuers and underwriters in several debt and equity offerings.

Recently, Ms. Choh was appointed by Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa to serve on the Los Angeles Convention Center Authority.

Certain representative matters include:

  • Representation of Apria Healthcare Group Inc. in its offering of $250,000,000 Convertible Notes in 2003.
  • Representation of a privately-held health products company in its offering of $100,000,000 Senior Notes in 2004.
  • Representation of K&F Industries Holdings, Inc. in its initial public offering in 2005.
  • Representation of Green Equity Investors IV, LP in its acquisition of The Sports Authority in 2006.
  • Representation of K&F Industries Holdings, Inc. in its sale to Meggitt plc in 2007.
  • Representation of the Chandler Family in their bid to acquire Tribune Company and subsequent disposition of their shares in Tribune Company in 2007.
  • Representation of Coeur d’Alene Mines Corporation in its acquisition of Bolnisi Gold NL (Australia) and Palmarejo Silver and Gold Corporation (Canada) in 2007.
  • Representation of Ticketmaster in its acquisition of Paciolan Inc. in 2008.
  • Representation of SPARTA, Inc. in its sale to Cobham plc. in 2008.
  • Representation of Apria Healthcare Group Inc. in its sale to The Blackstone Group in 2008.
  • Representation of Yukos International UK BV in its sale of Transpetrol to the Government of the Slovak Republic in 2009.
  • Representation of Leonard Green & Partners, LP and Aurora Capital Group in numerous fund formation matters and general corporate matters.

Ms. Choh graduated from the University of Pennsylvania in 1997 receiving a B.A. in International Relations, with minors in Spanish and Political Science.  She earned her law degree from the University of Southern California Law School in 2002 where she was a senior editor on the Southern California Law Review and elected to the Order of the Coif.  Ms. Choh is Vice-Chair of Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher's Associates Committee and a member of the firm’s Diversity Committee.

Ms. Choh is admitted to practice in the State of California.
