Daniel Schmitt is an associate in the Washington, D.C. office of Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher. He practices in the firm's Environment and Natural Resources practice group and the Litigation Department. Mr. Schmitt received his law degree in 2008 from Columbia Law School, where he was a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar and an editor of the Columbia Business Law Review and the Columbia Journal of East European Law. He earned his undergraduate degree from Northwestern University in 2005. Mr. Schmitt is admitted to practice in the District of Columbia and the Commonwealth of Kentucky, and before the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit and the United States District Court for the District of Colorado. He holds a Q-level security clearance with the United States Department of Energy. |
