Eric Yuen is an associate in the New York office of Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher. He is a member of the firm’s Litigation Practice. Mr. Yuen has experience in a range of complex commercial litigation, including securities litigation and professional malpractice matters. Mr. Yuen was a member of the team that represented a major insurance brokerage in shareholder class actions relating to disclosure of brokerage practices and commissions. In addition, Mr. Yuen has participated extensively in international compliance monitorships in Asia and South America related to deferred prosecution agreements with the Department of Justice and the Securities and Exchange Commission concerning Foreign Corrupt Practices Act issues. Mr. Yuen also has experience with internal investigations of alleged misconduct in connection with investigations by various state regulators. Mr. Yuen has maintained an active pro bono practice, focusing on election law. While in law school, he participated in the Philadelphia District Attorney’s Externship program. Mr. Yuen received his Juris Doctor from the University of Pennsylvania Law School in 2008, where he served as Senior Editor of the Journal of International Law. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 2005, with a concentration in economics. |
