Karyn Marsh is a staff attorney in the Washington, DC office of Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher where she is a member of the firm's Environmental Litigation and Mass Tort Practice Group, focusing on transactional matters. Ms. Marsh has experience with a wide range of environmental issues, including groundwater contamination and regulatory compliance with State and Federal environmental statutes, such as the federal Resource Conservation and Recovery Act and the Federal Water Pollution Control Act. Ms. Marsh has worked extensively on complex litigation and toxic tort matters, and was a Law Fellow with the University of Maryland Center for Health and Homeland Security. Prior to her legal career, Ms. Marsh was a hydrogeologist performing a variety of environmental investigations for over eight years. Ms. Marsh received her law degree with a certificate in Environmental Law in 2003 from the University of Maryland School of Law, where she was a Notes and Comments Editor on the Maryland Law Review and member of the Environmental Moot Court team. Ms. Marsh also holds a Master of Business Administration Degree from Villanova University and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Geosciences from The Pennsylvania State University. Ms. Marsh is a member of the Maryland and District of Columbia Bars and the United States District Court for the District of Maryland. She is also registered as a Certified Professional Geologist in Virginia. |
