Tzung-lin (Lin) Fu is an associate in the Los Angeles office of Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher.  Ms. Fu practices in the firm's Litigation Department, with an emphasis on white collar and internal investigations and intellectual property litigation.  She has also worked on securities, antitrust, professional liability, and wage-and-hour litigation matters.

Ms. Fu's representative matters include:

  • Represented a wire and cable manufacturer in a declaratory judgment patent infringement action relating to high speed data communication cables*
  • Defended a major electronic gaming product company in a patent infringement litigation relating to video game controllers and pressure sensors*
  • Represented a Singaporean corporation in responding to SEC investigation of possible accounting fraud by its Chinese subsidiary.*

Ms. Fu devotes significant time to pro bono representation of immigrants, victims of domestic violence, and children with special needs.  In 2009, she received the Legal Aid Society's Pro Bono Publico Award for her representation of fourteen Chinese restaurant workers in a wage-and-hour litigation under the FLSA.*

Ms. Fu earned her J.D. from New York University School of Law in 2006, where she was a Robert McKay Scholar and served as a Senior Articles Editor of the New York University Review of Law and Social Change.  She received a M.A. in English from the University of Toronto in 2001.  Ms. Fu graduated from National Taiwan University in 2000, where she earned her B.A. in Foreign Languages and Literatures.

Ms. Fu is admitted to practice in the states of California and New York, and before the United States District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York.  Ms. Fu is fluent in Chinese (Mandarin), and currently serves as a Senior Editor of the China Oceans Law Review.
