Oliver Olanoff is an associate in the New York office of Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher and a member of the firm’s Litigation Practice. Mr. Olanoff’s practice focuses on corporate control and mergers and acquisition litigation, government investigations and a wide range of general commercial litigation.
Mr. Olanoff has represented targets in numerous corporate control contests and has litigated such disputes in various federal courts and Delaware Chancery Court. He has also represented corporate clients in connection with civil investigations by the Securities and Exchange Commission, the New York Attorney General’s office and various state regulators.
Mr. Olanoff earned his Juris Doctor in 2002 from the University of Pennsylvania, where he won Best Individual Oral Argument and Best Overall Team in the University of Pennsylvania’s Keedy Cup Moot Court Competition. He also received his Bachelor of Arts degree magna cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania in 1999. Mr. Olanoff is admitted to practice in the State of New York and before the United States District Court for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York.
