Litigation is a critical arena of antitrust law. Our Antitrust Practice Group has a number of the nation's most experienced antitrust litigators. Four members of the Antitrust Practice Group are Fellows of the American College of Trial Lawyers and many others have substantial antitrust trial and class action litigation experience; others have substantial experience in the merger and acquisition area. One of our partners, Dan Swanson, has a doctorate in economics from Harvard. Many have served as judicial clerks to federal district and appellate court judges.
Our litigation work has involved the full spectrum of antitrust claims and issues, including alleged price fixing, predatory pricing, price squeeze, price discrimination, market allocation, boycotts, resale price maintenance, exclusive dealing, exclusive territories, tying arrangements, refusals to deal, dealer terminations, other vertical restraints, monopolization, monopoly leveraging, essential facilities, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, trade associations, interlocking directorates, patent enforcement, and the full range of antitrust exemptions and immunities. In the last two decades, members of our Antitrust and Trade Regulation Practice Group have been involved in well over one hundred litigated antitrust matters representing both defendants and plaintiffs.
