Gibson Dunn has assembled a team of legal experts to focus on the complex and unique issues facing companies in the Fashion, Apparel and Consumer Products industries.  This is the first in a series of regular briefings to be hosted by members of our group on corporate, litigation, intellectual property, tax and real estate topics of particular importance to these global industries.   

Our Speakers: 

Lois F. Herzeca is a corporate partner in Gibson Dunn's New York office. Ms. Herzeca's broad corporate practice includes mergers and acquisitions, capital markets transactions, licensing agreements, and joint ventures. She represents a wide spectrum of fashion designers, luxury goods companies, retail companies and manufacturing companies. She has written numerous articles for legal and financial publications, including most recently "Strategies for Allocating Long-Term Value in Fashion and Apparel License Agreements," for the May 2010 issue of Entertainment Law and Finance.

David M. Wilf is a corporate partner in Gibson Dunn's New York office.  Mr. Wilf's practice focuses on mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, strategic alliances and general corporate matters. He has worked on both coasts of the United States, in London and in Tokyo with a Japanese firm, has represented United States entities in Europe, Asia, Latin America and Africa in acquisitions, divestitures and joint ventures and non-United States entities in similar types of domestic and international transactions, in addition to his general domestic U.S. practice.
