Gibson Dunn Advises Lead Investors on Series A Financing in reev

Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher LLP advised Blue Earth Capital and Future Energy Ventures in connection with their co-lead investment in reev, a leading software provider for electric vehicle charging stations at semi-public locations. reev announced the completion of its Series A financing round totaling €10 million on May 14, 2024. The round was jointly led by Future Energy Ventures, the venture capital fund backed by leading energy utilities such as E.ON, and Blue Earth Capital, the specialist global impact investment firm. They join existing investors, including German energy provider N-ERGIE.

Gibson Dunn’s international private equity team was jointly led by Frankfurt partners Dirk Oberbracht and Jan Schubert and included London partners Wim De Vlieger and Federico Fruhbeck and London of counsel Luca Bernini, of counsel Aliresa Fatemi, associates Mattias Prange and Lisa Hollfelder (all Frankfurt).

Munich partner Kai Gesing and associate Christoph Jacob advised on IP and privacy aspects, Frankfurt of counsel Peter Gumnior on labor law.
