At its annual awards, The American Lawyer named Gibson Dunn the Labor & Employment Litigation Department of the Year, noting, “with novel labor and employment issues swirling, Gibson Dunn’s litigators set standards and settle the law,” and that a case “typical for Gibson Dunn’s labor and employment team” is “high-profile,” “cutting-edge,” and “a victory.”

The firm was also named a finalist for the General Litigation Department of the YearThe American Lawyer stated that Gibson Dunn top litigators handled matters arising from “the biggest news stories” of the past two years, noting “when news breaks and the pressure rises, clients call Gibson Dunn’s litigators to regain control.”

The American Lawyer also named New York partner Josh Krevitt as a Litigator of the Year, noting that global corporations turned to him when facing “must-win patent litigation” and he “is often called in to take over from other firms.” Gibson Dunn was also named a finalist for California Litigation Department of the Year and Best Provider Collaboration. The awards were presented on December 2, 2021.
