Based in Los Angeles, the Manager, IS Infrastructure is responsible for overseeing the implementation, and maintenance of our technology infrastructure to ensure optimal performance, reliability, and security. The Manager plays a critical role leading a team of skilled professionals.

This role reports to the Director of IS Operations.

Responsibilities include:

Operations and Maintenance

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations and maintenance of technology infrastructure, including monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
  • Enforce standards, policies, and procedures for infrastructure management, ensuring compliance with security and regulatory requirements.

Infrastructure Strategy and Planning

  • Collaborate with senior leadership and stakeholders to define infrastructure requirements, priorities, and roadmaps that support organizational goals.

Infrastructure Implementation

  • Lead the implementation of technology infrastructure solutions, including servers, storage, networking, virtualization, and cloud services.
  • Ensure that infrastructure solutions are scalable, resilient, and cost-effective, meeting current and future business needs.

Team Leadership and Development

  • Manage and mentor a team of infrastructure professionals, providing guidance, support, and opportunities for skill development and career growth.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement within the infrastructure team.

Vendor and Partner Management

  • Monitor vendor performance and service levels, addressing any issues or escalations as needed.

Risk Management and Compliance

  • Identify and mitigate risks related to technology infrastructure, including security vulnerabilities, data protection, and disaster recovery.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and industry best practices, conducting regular audits and assessments as necessary.

Qualifications

  • Strong technical expertise in infrastructure technologies, including but not limited to, servers, storage, networking, virtualization, and cloud platforms.
  • Solid understanding of ITIL framework, IT service management principles, and best practices.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate and influence across all levels of the organization.
  • Demonstrated strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities, with a focus on driving innovation and delivering results.

Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • 12+ years of experience in technology infrastructure management.
  • 5 years of experience in technology infrastructure management, with a demonstrated track record of success in leading complex projects and initiatives.
  • Preferable experience with law firm or professional services organization.
  • Relevant certifications such as ITIL, PMP and/or vendor-specific credentials (e.g., Cisco, VMware, Microsoft) are a plus.

Compensation & Benefits:

The annual compensation range for this position is $175-200k. The salary offered within this range will depend upon qualifications and other operational considerations.
