Job Summary
Gibson Dunn’s Frankfurt office is currently looking for an associate to join their growing Antitrust and Competition practice.
The Frankfurt Antitrust and Competition team is led by Georg Weidenbach. Mr. Weidenbach joined Gibson Dunn in 2020. He is regularly recommended by the leading legal publications. For example, JUVE Handbook 2020/2021 includes him in its list of the top antitrust advisors in Germany under the age of 50; Handelsblatt / The Best Lawyers™ 2020/2021 elected him as antitrust lawyer of the year in Germany; The Legal 500 Deutschland 2021 and The Legal 500 EMEA 2021 recognize Mr. Weidenbach as one of the “Leading Individuals” for Antitrust in Germany; Chambers Global 2021 and Chambers Europe 2021 rank him for Competition/European Law – Germany.
Gibson Dunn’s Frankfurt Antitrust practice focuses on European and German antitrust law. The team regularly advises clients on cartel investigations and related cartel damage claims, merger control, compliance programs and audits, antitrust related distribution and abuse of dominance matters.
Successful candidates will be German qualified, fluent in English, have an hands-on approach and be interested in joining a dynamic and growing practice in a top international law firm.
