Job Summary
Role Overview
We are looking for high performing associates who are keen to develop their experience within our market leading team.
In this position, you will be responsible for assisting in the drafting and negotiation of finance, leasing and aircraft trading documents, conducting due diligence and legal research, and providing analysis and support on various aspects of transportation and aviation asset finance transactions. You will support senior team members in managing client relationships and transactions, participating in team meetings, and contributing to strategic discussions. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to continuously develop your knowledge and expertise in aviation and asset finance, while working on market-leading transactions. There will also be opportunities to contribute to client and marketing events.
Successful candidates will be E&W qualified with 1-3 years’ experience working in a top tier law firm. You should have excellent academic credentials and a strong interest and proven experience in transportation and aviation asset finance is essential. We seek a dedicated individual eager to specialise and learn, thriving in a close-knit team. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
Transportation Asset Finance Team
Our Transportation Asset Finance team is renowned for its expertise in handling large, complex and first-of-kind transactions and providing top-tier legal advice. We pride ourselves on our collaborative approach and commitment to excellence.
You will work closely with a team of highly successful legal specialists in transportation and aviation finance. Collaboration will extend to partners, and other associates within the team, as well as clients and external stakeholders. Notably, you will work with Madalyn Miller and Mark Leverkus, both of whom have distinguished practices in this field. Madalyn, Co-Chair of the Transportation and Space Practice Group, is renowned for her expertise in asset-backed financing, particularly in the aviation sector. Mark, recognized as a “Rising Star” by Airfinance Journal, has extensive experience in international financing, leasing, and sale transactions involving aircraft and satellites.
