Job Summary

Gibson Dunn’s Munich office is seeking associates to join their thriving General Corporate/M&A team.

The Munich team is currently comprised of  three partners – Lutz Englisch, Ferdinand Fromholzer, and Markus Nauheim and a team of associates.

Mr. Englisch is frequently awarded and recognized by Best Lawyers in Germany as a leading lawyer for the categories Corporate, M&A and Private Equity.  The Juve Handbooks and Handelsblatt continuously recognize and award Lutz Englisch for the categories Corporate and M&A.

Mr. Fromholzer is listed by Handelsblatt / The Best Lawyers™ 2020/2021 among the best lawyers in Germany for Corporate Law, M&A and Private Equity. Kanzleimonitor 2020/2021 lists him as one of the two most recommended lawyers for Stock Corporation and Corporate Governance law.   The JUVE Handbook 2020/2021 recognizes him as “frequently recommended” in the categories Corporate and M&A.

Mr. Nauheim has been recognized by Handelsblatt / The Best Lawyers™ in its list of Germany’s Best Lawyers 2020/21 in the categories Corporate Law, M&A, Litigation and Arbitration and Mediation. The Munich Corporate practice has an impressive record of domestic and cross‐border M&A, joint ventures and private equity transactions. Our corporate and M&A specialists have particular expertise in buyouts, strategic investments, divestments, carve‐outs and public takeovers. Furthermore, we counsel on corporate governance, securities and regulatory issues.

Successful candidates will be German qualified, fluent in English, have an entrepreneurial approach and be interested in joining a dynamic practice in a top international law firm.
