Taylor C. Amato is an associate in the Washington, D.C. office of Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher, where she practices in the firm’s Litigation Department, with a focus on environmental and mass tort litigation, regulatory enforcement, and compliance counseling. Prior to joining Gibson Dunn, Taylor was an associate in the environmental practice at a law firm in Washington D.C., where she represented clients in permitting, compliance, siting, transactions, litigation and enforcement environmental matters at the federal and state level.
She has been recognized by the 2024 and 2025 edition of Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch® in America for Environmental Law, and Land Use and Zoning Law.
Taylor graduated with high honors from The George Washington University Law School and was awarded Order of the Coif. She served as a notes editor of the George Washington Journal of Energy & Environmental Law. Taylor received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Spanish Literature from Gettysburg College, where she graduated magna cum laude and was awarded departmental honors in Spanish in recognition of her distinguished academic record.
