Chris Atmar

Associate Attorney

Chris Atmar is an associate in the Houston office of Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher and a member of the Energy, Private Equity, Oil and Gas and Mergers and Acquisitions practice groups.

He advises and represents clients with respect to mergers and acquisitions (including upstream and midstream transactions), drilling partnerships and other joint venture arrangements, project development and energy financings. Chris has represented and advised private equity sponsors, management teams and portfolio companies in a range of acquisition, divestiture, corporate and transactional matters.

Chris earned a B.A. in History and Political Science from Texas A&M University and his J.D., cum laude from University of Houston Law Center. He was a Judicial Intern to The Honorable Gray Miller and The Honorable David Hittner, U.S. District Court, Southern District of Texas.
