Lorena Toussaint

Associate Attorney

Lorena Toussaint is an associate in the New York office of Gibson Dunn. Her practice focuses on sensitive, high-stakes litigations and investigations related to consumer protection, media and entertainment, and corporate and white collar crime.

Lorena has represented multinational companies in government and internal investigations involving allegations of fraud, bribery, corruption, and theft of trade secrets, as well as various allegations under the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act, Consumer Product Safety Act, and other state and federal consumer protection statutes. She also has experience defending media and entertainment companies and individuals in fast-paced legal proceedings and pre-litigation resolutions. Lorena's active pro bono practice focuses on human rights issues.

Lorena received her law degree from the University of Michigan Law School, where she served as Associate Editor of the Michigan Journal of International Law, interned at a professional NBA team, and extensively contributed to the Human Trafficking Clinic as a student attorney and research assistant. Lorena earned her Bachelor of Science with high distinction from the University of Michigan, with a focus on kinesiology, health, and fitness. She is admitted to practice in the State of New York, as well as the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York.

  • A media and technology conglomerate in a discrete internal investigation related to allegations of bribery and corruption.
