Thomas Canny is an associate in the Dallas office of Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher, where he currently practices in the firm’s Corporate Department. His practice focuses on corporate and securities transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, private equity investments, and public and private capital markets transactions.
He graduated from The University of Michigan Law School in 2017 where he served as Executive Notes Editor of the Michigan Business and Entrepreneurial Law Review. Thomas received his B.A. in Anthropology from Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey in 2012.
Prior to law school, Thomas served in the Peace Corps from 2012 to 2014, during which time he taught fish-farming in the village of Kabisapi in North-Western Province, Zambia.
He is admitted to the State Bar of Texas.
