Maura Carey is an associate in the Palo Alto office of Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher. She currently practices with the firm’s Litigation Department.
Maura earned her Juris Doctor in 2023 from Stanford Law School, where she was an editor of the Stanford Journal of Civil Rights & Civil Liberties and Vice President of the Stanford Law and Technology Association. She also participated in the law school’s Juelsgaard Intellectual Property and Innovation Clinic. She earned her B.A. in Philosophy with high honors from the University of Virginia in 2016, where she was elected to the Phi Beta Kappa Society. Prior to attending law school, she held various roles in communications, including deputy press secretary and speechwriter in the United States Senate.
Maura is admitted to practice in the State of California.
