Marc Collier is an associate in the Los Angeles office of Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher. He is a member of the firm’s Private Equity and Mergers and Acquisitions practice groups. Marc advises institutional investors, private equity funds, and corporations on a wide range of complex cross-border transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, joint venture and co-investment deals and structures, and general corporate matters.

- its acquisition of Kissner Group Holdings LP
- its add-on acquisition of the Americas salt business of K+S Aktiengesellschaft
- the divestiture by a portfolio company of Stone Canyon Industries of its evaporated salt business
- Aurora Capital Partners, in the following transactions:
- its acquisition of Advance Research Chemicals, Inc.
- its acquisition of Impact Environmental Group
- its acquisition of Sharps Compliance Corp., in a two-step tender offer take private transaction
- various private offerings to raise capital for its portfolio companies
- Jack in the Box Inc., in its acquisition of Del Taco Restaurants, Inc.
- Klutch Sports Group and Rich Paul, in the sale of a stake of Klutch Sports Group to United Talent Agency
- Hudson Pacific Properties, in the following transactions:
- its entry into a joint venture with Blackstone to acquire, develop, operate and lease media studio properties
- its entry into a joint venture with Blackstone to develop, operate and lease a media studio property in a suburb of Los Angeles
- its entry into joint ventures with Blackstone and Vornado Realty Trust with respect to Manhattan, New York’s first public-private partnership to build, operate and lease a studio campus at Pier 94

- its entry into a private equity fund consortium, which acquired a vehicle fleet management company
- Norway Island, LLC in its sale of the Aspen Lift 1A Hotel & Residences Development Site
Additionally, Marc has experience advising a diverse set of clients in the sports and entertainment industry, including an esports league and esports tournament operators, a mixed martial arts league, a fashion event management company, a soccer league, art exhibition management companies, a professional bull riding league, motor sports leagues, a figure skating exhibition event management company, a triathlon event management company, and a surfing event management company, with respect to a wide array of commercial, compliance, and strategic matters and business transactions, including acquisitions, joint ventures, restructurings, licensing agreements, sponsorships, media and digital rights distribution, supplier agreements, and customer data and personal information collection and use.*

Marc earned his Juris Doctor degree, magna cum laude, in 2011 from Duke University School of Law, where he was elected to the Order of the Coif. While in law school, he served as an editorial board member on the Duke Law Journal (law review). Marc graduated, summa cum laude, in 2008 from the University of Florida with a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance and a minor in Actuarial Science.
