Jessica Dent is a litigation associate in the Los Angeles office of Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher. Her practice focuses on advising employers and conducting internal investigations involving high-profile and sensitive misconduct and whistleblowing allegations.
She has significant experience litigating complex employment matters, including matters involving claims of discrimination, workplace violence, retaliation, and wage-and-hour violations in single-plaintiff and class action lawsuits under state and federal law.
In 2019 and 2020, Jessica was selected as a National Employment Law Council (NELC) Academy Fellow and remains actively involved in the organization.
Jessica graduated cum laude from Northwestern School of Law in 2017, where she served as a teaching assistant for the Center on Negotiation and Mediation and a student associate for Bluhm Legal Clinic. She received her undergraduate degree from the University of Southern California in 2006. Prior to law school, Jessica was a human resources professional who provided strategic HR support for integrated logistics, retail, education, and other highly matrixed organizations.
Jessica is a member of the State Bar of California and is admitted to practice before the United States District Courts for the Central, Northern, Eastern, and Southern Districts of California.
