Hunter Heck

Associate Attorney

Hunter Heck is an associate in the Dallas office of Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher LLP. She practices in the firm’s Litigation Department.

Hunter earned her law degree from the University of Virginia School of Law. In law school, she interned for the Texas Solicitor General’s Office and the Institute for Justice.  She was the Articles Development Editor for the Virginia Law Review, a finalist in the William Minor Lile Moot Court competition, and Vice President for Professional Development of the Federalist Society. She was also a research assistant to Professor Saikrishna Prakash. She received the Virginia Law Review Edit of the Year award and James M. Shoemaker Jr. Moot Court Award.

Hunter graduated summa cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa, and as Highest-Ranking Graduate from Texas Tech University with a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy and Spanish. At Texas Tech, she was elected by her peers to serve as Student Body President.

Hunter is admitted to practice in the State of Texas.
