Cody Johnson is an associate in the Dallas office of Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher. He currently practices in the firm’s Litigation Department.
Cody was an associate in the Dallas office from 2021 to 2022. From 2022 to 2023, he served as a law clerk for the Honorable Amos L. Mazzant III of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Texas. Following his clerkship, Cody rejoined the firm in the Dallas office.
Cody graduated with high honors from The University of Texas School of Law in 2021, where he was a Chancellor-at-Large and a member of the Order of Barristers. While in law school, he served as Chief Articles Editor of the Texas Journal of Oil, Gas, and Energy Law, as a Teaching Quizmaster in the legal writing program, and as a student member of the Supreme Court Clinic. He also won first place in the national round of the Giles S. Rich Intellectual Property Moot Court Competition and interned for the Honorable Lee Yeakel in the United District Court for the Western District of Texas.
Cody is a member of the State Bar of Texas and is admitted to practice law before the United States District Court for Northern District of Texas.
