Hayley Lawrence is an associate in the Washington, D.C. office. She practices in the firm’s Litigation Department. Hayley’s practice focuses on congressional investigations, complex civil litigation, and international trade compliance.
Hayley received her Juris Doctor and Master of Laws (LL.M.) from Duke Law School, cum laude, in 2021. In law school, she served as editor in chief of the Duke Journal of Constitutional Law & Public Policy and received the Class of 2021 Intellectual Curiosity Award. She received her Bachelor of Arts with distinction, majoring in Public Policy and Spanish, from the University of Virginia in 2016.
Hayley is the author of several academic articles. Her most recent works are The Untold History of Women’s Suffrage and Toxic Masculinity and Gender-Based Gun Violence in America: A Way Forward, 26 Journal of Gender, Race & Justice 33 (2023).
Before joining the firm, Hayley clerked for the Honorable Robin L. Rosenberg of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida.
Hayley is admitted to practice in the District of Columbia and before the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.
