Amanda L. LeSavage

Associate Attorney

Amanda L. LeSavage is a litigation associate in the New York office of Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher. Amanda is a member of the firm’s Litigation; Appellate and Constitutional Law; Labor and Employment; and Media, Entertainment, and Technology practice groups. Her practice focuses on high-stakes trial and appellate litigation and arbitration. She represents clients in a broad range of industries, including media and entertainment, technology, healthcare, and life sciences. 

Amanda maintains an active pro bono practice focused on civil rights and constitutional claims, gun safety litigation, and immigration matters. She represents peaceful protesters seeking redress from a government attack during the June 2020 Lafayette Park protest. She also represented Giffords Law Center to Prevent Gun Violence in litigation seeking to compel the federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives to sufficiently regulate AR-style “ghost guns.” 

Amanda served as a law clerk to the Honorable Julio M. Fuentes of the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit and the Honorable Naomi Reice Buchwald of the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York.

In 2019, Amanda received her Juris Doctor and Master of Science in Social Policy from the University of Pennsylvania. During law school, Amanda served as a law clerk to United States Senator Amy Klobuchar on the United States Senate Judiciary Committee. She also served as the Editor-in-Chief of the University of Pennsylvania Journal of Law & Public Affairs and on the Moot Court Board. She received her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Maryland, College Park.

Amanda is a member of the board of directors of Unique People Services, a non-profit focused on providing transitional and supportive housing to people with mental illness and developmental disabilities.

Amanda is a member of the New York and District of Columbia bars. She is admitted to practice before the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit and the United States District Courts for the Southern District of New York and the District of Columbia.
