Jiayi Lin is a corporate associate in the Beijing office of Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher LLP. She is a member of the firm’s Corporate, Mergers & Acquisitions and Private Equity Practice Groups. Jiayi advises corporate clients and private equity funds on a variety of cross-border M&A transactions, strategic acquisitions and investments, private equity transactions, joint ventures, restructuring, going private transactions, de-SPACs, PIPEs, and other securities and general corporate matters.
Prior to joining Gibson Dunn, Jiayi was an associate in the Beijing office of Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP. Jiayi received her Juris Doctor in 2020 from Harvard Law School and her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Economics in 2017 from University of California, Berkeley with Highest Distinction in General Scholarship.
Jiayi is admitted to practice in New York. She is fluent in Mandarin and English.
