Vera Lukic is a partner in the Paris office of Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher, where she serves as a member of the firm's Privacy, Cybersecurity and Data Innovation, Artificial Intelligence, Strategic Sourcing and Commercial Contracts and Technology Transactions practice groups. 

Vera has developed an extensive expertise in a broad range of matters related to technology, acting as a strategic advisor to clients for their complex transactions (e.g., worldwide outsourcing projects in regulated industries), contractual disputes (e.g., licensing compliance issues) and digital-related projects (e.g., Artificial Intelligence, NFT, Metaverse, Cloud-based solutions, Internet of Things, e-commerce or IaaS/PaaS). She regularly advises on technology aspects of M&A and PE transactions.

Vera also specializes in data protection and cybersecurity, assisting companies on their global privacy compliance programs, such as compliance with the GDPR and ePrivacy Directive, and representing clients in investigations and inquiries by privacy regulators. She assists clients across jurisdictions and a wide array of sectors navigating the most recent European regulations and developments related to privacy, cybersecurity, data and artificial intelligence, identifying potential impact on their business and defining related action plans. 

Vera is recognized as a notable practitioner for her work in the technology sector in Europe.
