Amber D. McKonly

Associate Attorney

​Amber D. McKonly is an associate in the Orange County office of Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher. She currently practices in the firm's Litigation Department.

Amber earned her law degree magna cum laude in 2017 from the University of San Diego School of Law, where she served as Managing Editor for the San Diego Law Review and was elected to the Order of the Coif. While in law school, she served as a judicial extern to the Honorable M. Margaret McKeown of the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, the Honorable Erithe A. Smith of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Central District of California, and the Honorable Cynthia A. Bashant of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of California. Amber also served as a Research Assistant to Professor Orly Lobel.

Prior to attending law school, she received her master's degree in Philosophy from the University of Colorado in 2010, and completed her bachelor's degree in Philosophy in 2008 at the University of Washington.

Amber is admitted to practice in the State of California.
