Rose Naing is an English-qualified associate in the London office of Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher, and a member of the firm’s International Arbitration, Litigation, and White Collar Defense and Investigations Group.
Rose specializes in international arbitration, with broad experience in complex commercial arbitrations and investment treaty cases, and was part of the team named International Team of the Year at the 2020 British Legal Awards for its work on the Ipek Interim Measures Award.
Her recent commercial arbitration experience includes acting in a portfolio of high value shareholder disputes seated in London relating to oil and gas projects in the Middle East. She has also acted for an English investor in a multi-billion dollar investment treaty arbitration claim.
Rose's other experience includes representing a mining company in High Court and Supreme Court litigation, representing a financial institution at the Privy Council, as well as advising in several regulatory investigations in the financial and mining sectors.
She trained at Gibson Dunn, during which time she spent six months on secondment to the firm’s Dubai office. Rose received her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Cambridge and was admitted as a Solicitor in 2018.
