Anthony N. Rivera

Associate Attorney

Anthony Rivera is an associate in the New York office of Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher and is a member of the firm’s Real Estate Practice Group. Anthony’s practice is focused on real estate finance transactions representing investment banks, debt funds, and institutional lenders in a broad range of commercial real estate transactions, including single- and multi-lender construction loans, permanent loans, mezzanine loans, and other leveraged financings secured by commercial real estate projects of all asset types, including office, retail, hotel, multifamily, and industrial.

Anthony earned his Juris Doctor with honors in 2020 from Emory University School of Law, where he was awarded an Emory Law Pro Bono Publico Medal and served as a Notes & Comments Editor for the Emory Bankruptcy Developments Journal, a Caseworker for the International Refugee Assistance Project, a Volunteer for the Emory Immigrant Legal Assistance Clinic, a 1L Representative and Treasurer for the Emory Public Interest Committee, and a Mentor for the Latin American Law Students Association.

Anthony graduated magna cum laude from The City College of New York (CUNY) in 2014 with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, where he was a member of the Honors Program in Legal Studies and was awarded the Haywood Burns Memorial Prize.

Anthony also maintains a robust pro bono practice, primarily focusing on immigration matters.

Prior to joining Gibson Dunn, Anthony was a real estate associate in the New York office of another multinational law firm.

Anthony is admitted to practice in the State of New York.
