Courtney Spears is an associate in the Orange County office of Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher. She currently practices in the firm’s Litigation Department. Courtney represents clients in a wide range of high-stakes, complex commercial cases, with an emphasis in technology and intellectual property, and antitrust and competition matters. She has extensive trial experience, having been a core member of four trial teams in the past two years.
Prior to joining Gibson Dunn, Courtney served as a law clerk to the Honorable Ronald S.W. Lew of the United States District Court for the Central District of California.
Courtney earned her Juris Doctor in 2019 from the University of Southern California Gould School of Law. While in law school, Courtney served as a Senior Copy Editor for the Southern California Interdisciplinary Law Journal. Courtney graduated magna cum laude from the University of San Diego with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science.
Courtney is a member of the State Bar of California and is admitted to practice before the United States District Courts for the Central and Northern Districts of California.
