Sarah Villani is an associate in the London office of Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher and a member of the firm’s Privacy, Cybersecurity and Data Innovation and Technology Transactions Practice Groups.
She has experience advising clients on data protection and privacy matters, including in relation to privacy by design, international data transfers and marketing, and various technology transactions and commercial arrangements.
Sarah received her Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Birmingham in England. Whilst completing her Bachelor of Commerce degree from McGill University, she studied on exchange at the Recanati Business School at Tel Aviv University.
Prior to joining Gibson Dunn, Sarah was an in-house lawyer and Lead Lawyer for Data Protection and Privacy at an international satellite telecommunications company and an associate in the London office of an American law firm. Prior to that, she trained and was an associate in a British-headquartered international law firm.
Sarah is also fluent in French and Hebrew, and speaks elementary Italian.
