Overview
In 2016, Gibson Dunn expanded its German legal team into the heart of Europe’s largest economy with the opening of its Frankfurt office.
Located in the iconic TaunusTurm skyscraper in Frankfurt’s financial district, the team’s robust client roster includes well known German-headquartered clients as well as international companies and investors doing business in or looking to invest in Germany.
Working closely with our Munich office and seamlessly with the firm’s 19 other offices, our Frankfurt based lawyers advise on a wide range of corporate transactions and general corporate advice, as well as on dispute resolution, compliance, and regulatory work.
The corporate team has significant experience with public and private mergers and acquisitions, private equity transactions, joint ventures, corporate restructurings, carve-outs and minority investments, and finance, as well as with German corporate and securities law. Our dispute resolution lawyers focus on complex corporate and commercial litigation and arbitration and represent clients in compliance and white-collar defense matters. As part of our larger practice across Germany, Europe and worldwide, the antitrust team represent clients in merger control matters, cartel prevention, and cartel proceedings.
Embracing Gibson Dunn’s one firm approach, our Frankfurt office brings a full service offering leveraging in-depth local knowledge coupled with seamless integration with the firm’s global platform to advise our clients on their most complex and high stakes legal matters.
