Gibson Dunn’s downtown Los Angeles office, founded in 1890, is the firm’s original office and one of the oldest law firms in the city. Our longstanding presence in Los Angeles has allowed Gibson Dunn to establish deep roots in the local community and a strong reputation for legal excellence.

Today, the Los Angeles team consists of over 280 lawyers who provide sophisticated legal representation and counseling to the world’s most preeminent companies, organizations, and institutions in a variety of practices – including litigation, corporate, real estate, land-use, employment, environmental, capital markets, class actions, investment funds, and tax. The Los Angeles office’s litigation practice covers a broad spectrum, from antitrust and unfair trade practices to international law disputes, environmental controversies, labor and employment, white collar, compliance-related investigations, appeals, and complex class actions.
