Gibson Dunn’s Munich office opened in 2002, building the firm’s global presence in one of the world’s most dynamic business regions.

Located in the center of Munich, Germany’s third-largest city, our team serves clients throughout Germany and worldwide. At Gibson Dunn’s Munich office, we operate as one German team together with our office in Frankfurt and advise clients operating in or looking to expand into Germany.

Our client list reflects Munich’s diverse economic strength as a high-tech and manufacturing center, with dedicated knowledge of the automotive, aerospace and defense, information technology, nano- and biotechnology, and financial sectors. This includes blue chip corporations, midsized companies (SMEs or, in German, the Mittelstand), investment banks, private equity, and venture capital investors.
