Washington, D.C. partner Roscoe Jones, Jr. was elected as a Fellow of the American Bar Foundation, which is “a global honorary society of lawyers, judges, law faculty, and legal scholars. Membership is limited to one percent of licensed U.S. Lawyers and a limited number of international lawyers.” The election was announced on April 11, 2023.
Roscoe Jones, Co-Chair of Gibson Dunn’s Public Policy Practice Group, represents clients in legislative and policy matters before the U.S. Congress and Executive Branch. He has a decade of Capitol Hill experience advising three U.S. Senators and a Member of Congress as chief of staff, legislative director, chief counsel, and senior counsel and advising an Assistant Attorney General in the Justice Department. Leveraging that experience, he promotes and protects clients’ interests before the U.S. Congress and the Administration, providing services including lobbying, strategic counseling, coalition building, political intelligence collection, legislative drafting, and messaging development.
