The Energy Council has named PT Medco Energi Internasional Tbk.’s (MedcoEnergi) acquisition of 20% interests in two Exploration and Production Sharing Agreements in the Sultanate of Oman as the Deal of the Year at its 2024 APAC Awards. Gibson Dunn acted for the MedcoEnergi group on its financings related to the acquisition. The Gibson Dunn finance team was led by Singapore partner Jamie Thomas and assisted by Singapore of counsel U-Shaun Lim and Singapore attorney Chee Jun An. The awards were announced on June 5, 2024.
