Two Gibson Dunn Deals Recognized at the 2024 PFI Awards

Project Finance International has named two Gibson Dunn deals amongst its Deals of the Year at the 2024 PFI Awards.

Changhua 4 was named Asia-Pacific Power Deal of the Year, with Gibson Dunn advising Cathay Life, as borrower, in the project financing stage of the transaction. The team on that deal was led by Ben Shorten, and included Jamie Thomas, Claude Jiang, John Cheah and Jun An Chee.

Also recognized was Taiba/Qassim, named Power Deal of the Year at the Global Awards. The Gibson Dunn team, led by Ben Shorten and including Laleh Shahabi, Mahmoud Abdel-Baky, Elizabeth Wood, Jun An Chee and Andy Sears-Black, represented ACWA Power Company in its role as sponsor.
